Jet was the leader of the rouge group the Freedom Fighters who led raids on the Fire Nation Soldiers who were stationed in Gaipan. After his encounter with the Avatar and friends, he disbanded the group and headed to Ba Sing Se for a new life. While there, he was obsessed over proving that Zuko and Iroh were firebenders. After being captured by the Dai Li, he was brainwashed and was used to try and lure Team Avatar away from Ba Sing Se. He eventually ended up leading the team into the Dai Li's headquarters at Lake Laogai, where he would meet his ultimate fate at the hands of Long Feng. Jet's personality was marked by his parent's death when he was eight years old. His obsession with ending the Fire Nation consumed his personality, driving him to almost wipe out an entire town to rid it of the Fire Nation soldiers.
