Ume was a creative inventor and architect who aspired to transform the Earth Kingdom with her inventions.

History

Ume was a brilliant, if unconventional, inventor, and architect. She learned everything she knew from her mother, who passed away during the Hundred Year War. Ume saw her "art" as something to continue not only because she genuinely loved it, but also to honor her mom.

She owned a workshop in the Earth Kingdom plains. Her workshop was just as quirky as Ume herself, and was centered on a massive treehouse surrounded by tents.

Ume heard about the bounty on the supposed thief Qian Yu in Boat Bottom, but was mostly curious about the Air Nomad artifact. She wanted to find Qian Yu and inspect the artifact, but did not necessarily want to collect the bounty. She was interested in the artifact's artistry, and wanted to see if she could use it as inspiration in her newest designs. She was willing to trade repairs of the Sparrowkeet dirigible that Qian Yu had stolen, or refueling of its tanks in exchange for a look at the artifact.

Personality

Ume was endlessly chatty and curious, and often asked people about their travels and experiences. Her naturally curious nature meant that she tended to take nearly everything apart, and didn't pay much heed to whether her timing was advantageous or not. She had a desire to transform the Earth Kingdom with her inventions.

Abilities

Ume was a creative inventor and could even invent new devices on the fly when she was in a tight situation. She could also use her technological know-how to quickly tune, repair, and adjust her available equipment.
