Tong and Sing were Dai Li agents who worked with the Silver Fangs against the Fire Nation after the Coup of Ba Sing Se.[1]
History
Tong and Sing were among those Dai Li agents who officially pledged loyalty to Azula after the Conspiracy of Ba Sing Se, though it was actually a ruse to avoid arrest and detainment. They joined Sumi's faction within the Azula-led Dai Li in working to covertly undermine the Fire Nation, preparing for the day of Sozin's Comet and the Order of the White Lotus's retaking of the city.[1]
After the Day of Black Sun in summer 100 AG, Tong, Sing, and two other Dai Li agents escorted two captured rebels, Jin and Xuan, from their cell in the Earth Kingdom Royal Palace dungeons to meet with Sumi, ostensibly for a trial. Upon arriving, Sumi dismissed all agents aside of Tong and Sing. The two subsequently watched as she informed the prisoners about their plans to resist the Fire Nation.[1]
Personality
Tong and Sing were loyal to the Earth Kingdom, willing to fake loyalty to the Fire Nation so they could work against the occupation from the inside.[1]
