Sun Po was a merchant operating out of the Fire Nation Capital in 95 AG.
History
Sun Po built her merchant fleet from the ground up. The biggest boon of her career was using Fire Nation nobility to bankroll her exploits, carving out enough power for herself that most people couldn't touch her. She met Fire Sage Niuan at a party while wooing a wealthy patron into paying for an expedition, and decided to keep him as her friend. They played Pai Sho every weekend.[1]
Her lavish offices were found in Hari Bulkan, set high enough in the outer wall to look out over First Lord's Harbor, but only allowing Sun Po to see ships leaving the harbor in beautiful blue waters, rather than dock workers. Her offices were kept at the height of Fire Nation fashion, to the point that they stepped over the border beteween taste and gaudiness. Numerous places in her offices provided privacy, with her host of staff usually being too terrified of their employer to question her.[3]
Physical appearance
Sun Po regularly wore lavish silken robes.[1]
Personality
Sun Po was very calculating, but was petty despite her cleverness. She held a lasting grudge against another merchant, Liva, due to the latter having once slighted her. Sun Po was not an altruist and would only consider helping friends if she could get something in return. Her primary motivation was driving off threats to her own power.[1]
