Seijir was a mercenary and member of the Rough Rhinos. In this capacity, he served as guard for the Earthen Fire Refinery by 102 AG.

History

One of many Fire Nation citizens who felt "lost" after their country's defeat in the Hundred Year War, Seijir joined the Rough Rhinos in an attempt to find a place to belong. As part of the group, he ended up as security detail in employ of Loban and Lao Beifong at the Earthen Fire Refinery.

One day in 102 AG, Team Avatar and three Air Acolytes appeared at the refinery. Lao Beifong ordered the Rough Rhinos to "escort" them off the refinery's premises, but Avatar Aang and Toph Beifong refused to leave. The Rough Rhinos were eager for a fight, and Seijir smiled as he asked his comrades if they needed some backup for the clash. Before the mercenaries could strike, they were knocked off ground by the Avatar's airbending and Toph's earthbending. Seijir quickly got up and began to attack Toph with chain-knives, exclaiming that the "little girl" would regret to have started a fight with the Rough Rhinos. After barely missing her, however, Seijir was launched into the air by the earthbender's powerful counter-attack. The mercenary screamed, but was saved from harm by Aang who caught him in mid-air. Instead of thanking the Avatar, however, Seijir used the opportunity to try stabbing his savior. The Avatar responded by sinking Seijir into the earth, trapping him for the rest of the battle.

A few months later, Seijir and the other Rough Rhinos stopped working at the Earthen Fire Refinery.

Personality

Seijir was cruel, violent, and devious. He enjoyed picking a fight and harming others, smiling when he used his lethal weapons to attack others. He also did not hesitate to strike at Aang despite the latter having saved him.
