Biographical information
Personal life
Higgins has two sons: Beckett, who was born in 2009, and Foster, born in 2010. Her husband is Jess Lofland.
Career
Higgins earned a degree in music from Auburn University. She is a trained pianist who pursued her music career in jazz, working sideshows for musicians such as Katisse Buckingham, Justin Robinson, Roy Hargrove, and Steven Bernstein. She released her first album, called The Tide is Low, in 2002, and a second one, called Stealing Freedom some time later; in her albums, she expresses her own unique style of hard-bop. She is in a band called Upperstructure.
She studied voice acting with Bob Richardson.
