Hing was a boy from the Fire Nation Capital who became involved in the Safe Nation Society after children were kidnapped by Kemurikage impostors in c. 102 AG.[1]
History
After Fire Lord Zuko condemned the Safe Nation Society's vigilantism, Hing and other members of the militia group joined Ukano in protest in the streets of the capital. After General Mak ordered the protesters to be arrested, a violent riot erupted.
Kei Lo encountered Hing outside Mura's flower shop, and was warned that anyone connected to Ukano was being arrested. At that moment, the Fire Army soldiers arrived, placing both Kei Lo and Hing under arrest.
Hing and the other members of the Safe Nation Society were taken to Capital City Prison, where Mak ordered the interrogation rooms to be prepared. When Mai expressed surprise at seeing Kei Lo under arrest, he explained that the Society had run into him, which Hing meekly apologized for. While Kei Lo was freed, Hing remained under arrest.[1]
