Biographical information
Early life
McKenna was born in Los Angeles, California. Her father is American and her mother is American of French and Scandinavian provenance. She attended Archer School for Girls in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
Career
McKenna started out with small roles in television shows and movies before earning a role as Amanda in the film Campfire Tales. She was nominated for her role in You Wish as "Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series" at the 1998 Young Artist Awards. Her recognition later earned her guest roles in Malcolm in the Middle and Boston Public before getting the role as Abby Macy in Crossing Jordan.
After taking a few years break from acting to attend university, McKenna returned in 2009 to play the lead role of Megs in the short film The City of Lights.[1] In 2010, she appeared in three episodes of the CW hit teen drama series 90210, and in 2012, she landed a role in the TNT revival of the CBS prime-time soap opera, Dallas. She also made guest appearances in Two and a Half Men, Sketchy and Guys with Kids. In 2014, she appeared in the horror film Haunted.
