Template:Forumheader/doc

Description

This template is used to facilitate easy navigation around Toon Wiki's forums. It is placed at the top of every forum and their associated threads. In order to discourage "necro-posting", this template also automatically replaces the "Edit" button with "Archived" on older threads, as well as adding a prominent archive notice.

Dependencies

• Uses javascript called upon from an id. See MediaWiki:Common.js under "Archive edit tab disabling".
• Uses File:Forum new.gif

Syntax

Type {{Forumheader|<...>}} at the top of a forum thread.

It is not ordinarily expected that this template will need to be added to a forum thread, as it is preloaded when users create one. However, in the event of the template accidentally being removed from the initial creation of a thread, use:

• {{Forumheader|War Room}} for War Room threads
