Ming was a senior citizen of the Northern Water Tribe.

History

Avatar Aang aided Ming in heating her hut by providing her with some lamp oil he had acquired from a fisherman and a wick from a merchant. When Prince Zuko raided the village, she stayed out of harm's way by hiding in her house.
