This time, the game is themed around superheroes and comic books. As with Super Brawl 3: Good vs. Evil and Super Brawl 3: Just Got Real, this game was also developed by Workinman Interactive. This is also the first game in the series to not be developed as a Flash game, as future web browser entries of the series are built as HTML5 games, allowing better performance and mobile compatibility.
