Biographical information

Wu was born and grew up in West Virginia. In middle school, she became active in theaters, though initially could not pursue this passion. She instead began to work in business after college, including in China. However, she disliked the work, ultimately opting to attend theater school in New York City. From this point, she began to work as audiobook narrator on the side. Wu eventually left theaters and got a Master's degree in human rights in Italy and Thailand; for a time, she worked for the United Nations. During this period, Wu continued to work on audiobooks.[1]
