Nianzhen was a determined Si Wong tribeswoman who came to Republic City to search for her best friend, who had been kidnapped by a group of smugglers.[1]
History
After a group of smugglers kidnapped her best friend, Nianzhen followed them from her home in the Si Wong Desert all the way to Republic City. She did not have a plan about what she was going to do, but Nianzhen persevered nonetheless.
When she found the smugglers, Nianzhen pounded them into the ground, before the police showed up to stop her and threw all of them in jail. Nianzhen was released after she explained what happened, but she had no other leads to go on about her best friend's whereabouts - except for a person by the name of Xiaolan who ran the Rising Flame Triad.[1]
Personality
Nianzhen was a blunt and determined woman, and had a "punch-first-ask-questions-later attitude".[1]
Abilities
A skilled earthbender and sandbender, Nianzhen made use of dirt and rocks as she fights, as well as flowing rivers of sand.[1]

- Nianzhen is a pregenerated character for players to use in the Adventure Booklet: The Burning Fuse, using The Hammer playbook.[1] Before the release of this adventure, she was the unnamed representative of the same playbook in the Core Book.[2]
