During Korra's date with Bolin at Narook's Seaweed Noodlery, the fangirls sat with Tahno and the other Wolfbats at another table and watched the two Fire Ferrets intently from across the room. As Korra glared directly at Tahno, the fangirls whispered and giggled to him before following his lead to confront Korra. The girls shared the same contemptuous attitude as the Wolfbats when dealing with the Avatar, and when Tahno attempted to regain his dignity after being scared by Naga, they gave Korra a brief look of disdain before retreating to their table.[2]
The fangirls attended the championship match to support the Wolfbats and showcased their enthusiasm during the team's overly extravagant entrance, with one of the girls even mimicking the Wolfbat howl. Later in the match, however, they were shocked to see Korra defeat Tahno in the round two tiebreaker face-off.[3]

During the following years, these girls remained loyal fans of Tahno and the Wolfbats. When Kuvira threatened to take Republic City by force, the girls ignored the voluntary evacuation request issued by President Raiko and instead enjoyed a meal at Narook's Seaweed Noodlery with Tahno and Ming. However, they did take notice of Prince Wu's plea to evacuate.[4]

Trivia
- Even though four fangirls are known from The Legend of Korra—The Art of the Animated Series, Book One: Air, only three ever appeared in the series.[1]
- Two of the fangirls are voiced by Maria Bamford and Mindy Sterling.
- Bryan Konietzko described the fangirls as "goth-inspired, 1920's-esque". Their designs were supposed to convey that anyone who insulted the White Falls Wolfbats would have to face their wrath.[1]
