Gameplay
Summary
The game includes 30 playable characters who act as racers and 70 supporting characters who take on the role of crew members. Players can put together a pit team consisting of a racer and a crew member, and compete against other teams. The cast is made up of characters from numerous popular Nickelodeon shows, as well as guest characters from outside the playable roster. The karts can be individually customized by the player by making a selection from an existing range of karts, with the designs being adapted to the characters. The karts can be controlled with power-ups and special attacks, and the game features 28 different racetracks and 2 arenas. The game can also be played online with up to 8 players.[2]
Characters
Of the 100 characters that appear in the game, three are Avatar characters:
- Aang is a racer and wears his regular outfit from the first two seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender. His kart sports the elemental symbol of airbending on the back and features the wings of his glider.[1]
- Korra is a racer and wears her outfit from the first three seasons of The Legend of Korra. She drives a blue Satomobile marked with the waterbending element symbol.[1]
- Asami Sato is a crew member. She appears in the upper right corner of the screen in a small window and shows a wrench in the lower right corner of the window.[1]

Trivia
- This game marks the first appearance of Avatar characters in a home console video game since Activision's The Legend of Korra, and also marks the first appearance of Aang in a racing game since Nicktoons Nitro, as well as the first appearance of Korra in any Nicktoons racing game.
- There are only two airbending gates on the Air Temple Island track, much fewer than those that can be seen in A Leaf in the Wind.
