Biographical information

Personal life

Quandt received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University in 2010.

Career

During his studies at Indiana University, Quandt took several writing courses, and, in-between semesters, took internship positions at development studios in Los Angeles, most notably at Cartoon Network. After finishing his degree, Quandt moved to Los Angeles permanently, and spent several years doing freelance work.

Quandt's first credit as a writer would be for DreamWorks Animation's streaming show, Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, an adaptation of a novel by Daniel Kraus and the show's creator, Guillermo del Toro. The show's writing team would later receive a Daytime Emmy award in 2018 for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program. Quandt would work with del Toro again, this time as a co-showrunner and executive producer, on Wizards: Tales of Arcadia, a sequel to Trollhunters. He is currently a co-executive producer and story editor for Avatar: Seven Havens.
