History
Uzuku Yuyan gained a reputation as a legendary markswoman who had turned archery into an art form. Many a noble began sponsoring her in exchange for demonstrations and lessons. She began to face pressure to share her incredible skills with the Fire Nation: Some wanted her as one of the nation's deadliest agents, while others wanted her to teach loyal archers her skills. Uzuku felt a loyalty to her homeland, but was conflicted about those who wanted to turn her art into crass violence.[1]
Eventually, the Yuyan Archers were formed as a group of elite and highly skilled archers, presumably founded by Uzuku or her successors.
Abilities
Uzuku was an astonishing markswoman. Firing an arrow from her bow was no mere physical act; for her, it was spiritual, and required perfect harmony between archer and arrow. She was considered to have transformed her archery into an art form.[1]
