Despite being relatively small animals, crococats are fierce carnivores strong enough to defeat opponents several times their size.[1][2]
Anatomy
The crococat's fur can range from green, brown, black, and white in color on their backs as well as also having scales.[1][3] Female crococats birth a litter of several young.[1] Young crococats are described as being very cute and soft.[2]
Behavior
In general, crococats are highly independent and can turn extremely aggressive if they feel threatened or bothered.[1] While young crocokittens are rather helpless, their strength increases tremendously when their first scales grow. At this point, they are already capable of defeating a half-grown platypus bear.[2] An adult female crococat is strong enough to knock out an adult man by hitting him.[1] When angered, crococats are described as becoming as ferocious as a saber-tooth moose lion.[3]
During pregnancy, the crococat becomes ravenously hungry, devouring all food in sight to feed its children. It will consume nearly all types of pet food, although will still turn its nose up at certain dishes, such as gourmet fish. The crococat is able to pick the flesh off a giant fish in mere seconds.[1]
Connection

The crococat has the body and size of a housecat and the scaled stomach of a crocodile.
Trivia
- The famous Earth Rumble wrestler The Boulder owned a secret pet crococat that he named "The Pebble".[1]
- Sokka at least once likened his sister Katara to a crocokitten. This tease had a double-meaning, as crocokitten are both cute and cuddly, yet also strong and fierce.[2]
- Crococats at times may be confused with a catgator.[3]
