Ezra was a noble firebender from the Fire Nation Capital who was banned from all firebending academies after a dispute with Minister Zianda. After ending up in the Earth Kingdom, Ezra sought revenge against Zianda when he returned to the Fire Nation.[1]
History
Growing up in the Fire Nation Capital, Ezra trained as a firebender along with other noble children. When he was young, he had a dispute with Minister Zianda, who took the effort to get Ezra kicked out of school and banished from ever learning in any Fire Nation academy.
Bereft of other options, Ezra took to the streets and eventually ended up in the Earth Kingdom, where he trained with earthbenders to hone his own bending, ultimately creating a hybridized and forceful way of bending.[1]
Eventually, he met up with Nyanchi, Boin, and Zeebee, helping to save Sister Rioshon from bandits.[2] He agreed to accompany her to the Fire Nation Capital for the royal wedding of Princess Zeisan and Monk Khandro, where he hoped he might lay Minister Zianda low in revenge for getting him kicked out of firebending school. However, Rioshon eventually asked Ezra and the others to warn Princess Zeisan about a sinister plot to disrupt a pre-wedding symposium held by the princess, with Rioshon being unable to do so herself as she was being watched.[3]
Personality
Ezra was a very determined individual, but could also be excessive.[1]
Abilities
Ezra's firebending took on earthbending-influenced motions from his time training with earthbenders.[1]
