Anri was an artist and a performer who was part of the Flying Koi Carnival.[1]
History
Anri always dreamed of joining the circus, and joined the Flying Koi Carnival. She was always seen accompanied by her trained elephant rat, Lulu. Despite her proximity in age to Maolo, she joined the carnival as his apprentice, and used her earthbending skills to manipulate colorful clays during his waterbending performances.
She later graduated to being Maolo's partner-in-crime, but she hadn't been able to shake her image as a doting apprentice. Unlike Maolo, Anri was completely sold on Ringmaster Peng's mission to steal from rich customers to feed the poor in the Lower Ring, despite how ruthless he had become, and despite Maolo confiding his worries in her.[1]
Personality
Anri was guided by her drive to make a name for herself.[1]
Abilities
Anri was both a skilled earthbender and a talented artist. Her signature earthbending technique whenever she got into a fight was being able to pin her foes with a column of earth.[1]
