Len was a bodyguard working in the Silver Fangs, and a personal guard of Xuan's family.
History
After the Fire Nation takeover of Ba Sing Se, Len hid in the ruins of Hu Yuan Apothecary with other Silver Fangs members, acting as a bodyguard against anybody who approached. He shot at Jin when she snuck in to the hideout, pinning her hair to a pillar. As he notched a second arrow, Xuan recognized Jin and ordered Len to stop, who lowered his weapon. After Xuan and Jin updated each other on what had happened since the invasion, Xuan dismissed Len, sending him back to his guard post.[1]
Len later participated in the liberation of Ba Sing Se in 100 AG. He was tasked to guard Wen Bakery, stationing himself on a building across the street to watch for anybody who approached.[2]
Personality
Len was fiercely loyal to the Silver Fangs and Xuan's family, even willing to fire on other Earth Kingdom residents to protect them. He was reluctant to trust others, doubting Jin's trustworthiness even after Xuan allowed her in to Hu Yuan Apothecary. Despite this, he valued the orders he received from his boss, who he called "young master", and obeyed them without question.[1]
Len's loyalty and skill made him highly valued by Xuan, who stated that he would trust him to guard his own family.[2]
