This pet shop owner was a resident and small business proprietor of Ba Sing Se. He encountered Team Avatar in his shop as they searched for their missing companion, Appa.

History

When Team Avatar questioned the shop owner about Appa, he stated that he had never seen any flying bison in the city and was unaware of their existence. The conversation quickly grew awkward when Aang and Sokka demanded information about the black market in the city. Joo Dee immediately gestured to him to avoid the question behind Team Avatar's back, and the man kicked them out, stating that Momo was harassing one of his sparrowkeets.
