Pavi is the Earth Avatar succeeding Korra,[1] residing in the city of Alora.[2]

History

In Pavi's time, the world had been shattered by a devastating cataclysm,[3] with both the physical and Spirit Worlds torn asunder. The remnants of humanity endured in Seven Havens, spread across the world.[3]

Pavi discovered she was the new Avatar, but in her dangerous era, the title marked her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior.[3] On the run, she was pursued by both human and spirit forces. She was joined by her long-lost twin sibling as they uncovered their mysterious origins and links to the Avatar Cycle, and tried to find a way to save their world before the Seven Havens collapsed entirely.[4]

Pavi's companions include her friend and mentor, Jae, an airbender, and a cat monkey named Geet.[2][1][5]

Trivia

  • The first image of Pavi was shown at San Diego Comic Con on July 24, 2025.[6]
  • Pavi is the second Avatar known to be a twin, after Avatar Roku.
  • Pavi is the first known Avatar to be physically disabled on a full time basis, as she is an amputee missing her left leg.
  • In the wake of the Avatar Spirit's temporary destruction in 171 AG, Avatar Korra and Tenzin were unsure as to what kind of connection the former's successors would have to their past lives, as her own connection was lost forever. At Tenzin's suggestion, Korra started to write letters of advice to her next incarnation to help them. She made a scrapbook about her own time to try to help the next Avatar, and also asked her friends and companions to give their own advice.[7][8]
