It contains books about bending, records, battles, spirits, locations, and more all the while being heavily guarded by Omashu sentinels. To enter the library, one must be a master earthbender and know a secret password which is made or changed by King Bumi.

History

Team Avatar traveled to the library and sneaked past two guards conversing about the library's new password. The children learned of the password, which was "Zoomy Bumi", and were allowed to enter; however, they still had to sneak past other guards. At the library, they found a scroll containing battle records and bending moves. Another scroll had an image of the Earth Kingdom, and from this, they discovered a hidden island where the Fire Nation forced Lian to create machines.
